About AlemcoWhat We DoCertificationsQualifications
About Alemco Alemco is a family run plumbing and heating business based in Southampton. We have been serving the local area and Hampshire for over 25 years and have built up a loyal and friendly customer base as a result. Our reputation is built on reliability and quality workmanship, offering a friendly and efficient service.

In the past we have found that customers really want to know more about the options involved in using certain products, tips and other reference material. On this site, that’s exactly what you will find to help you in making any future decisions about the appliances you use and options involved. All of our services pages act as a reference guide in that area, broken down into easy to read sections with appropriate images and diagrams. We hope you find all the available information helpful, and accurate. If you think there is anything that needs changing or you know of something relevant that we can add, let us know! We really appreciate the feedback in order to improve our services.

We also offer a 24hr emergency plumbing service for when you need assistance immediately – and when we say 24hr, we mean it. So don’t hesitate in calling us at any time, be it lunch time or the dead of night.

Customer Reviews

  • Always polite and tidy, efficient and friendly! I recommend Alemco to everyone who needs the best job at an affordable price! You won’t use anyone else once you have tried Alemco! Fact.
  • Fantastic service. Very friendly and helpful and at a great price, highly recommend!!!!!!
  • We could not be more pleased with the response we had from Alan, the speed in which the job was organised and carried out, and the quality of the installation – absolutely delighted. In addition, Alan was very friendly, even to the point of laughing at all my jokes, and a pleasure to deal with.
  • Super service today – After having the run around from Dyno Rod. They came out earlier than they said and were super helpful. Will use again. Thank you.
  • Thank you for your service, friendly and efficient.
  • I can’t recommend Alemco enough. Alan was quick and very professional. I would definitely use them again. Thanks again!
  • Delighted to leave a great review – Alan has serviced my AGA for years and has always been fabulously reliable, both on regular services and when I’ve needed him to come urgently – he definitely understands that there is nothing more frustrating than a cold AGA!
  • Alan was great. He explained how the system worked as I’ve never owned an oil burner before. Very personable and his work was very tidy. Would recommend to anybody.
  • Alan and Clinton came and fixed an ancient boiler and has given it a new lease of life with a new burner. The house radiators were also treated and are working well… Alan is thorough, kept the house clean, and is very prompt with timings and turnaround.
I also must add, this repair was after another OFTEC company incorrectly diagnosed the issues and replaced incorrect parts over Christmas. I was left with a “you need a new boiler” whereas Alan (ALEMCO) confirmed there was life left in the boiler and were more than happy to help. I’m more than happy to recommend Alemco.
